Community Involvement and Engagement
The Care Work Partnership is committed to working collaboratively with people with lived experience of drawing on and working in adult social care, to ensure our research is relevant, practical and inclusive.
The Care Work partnership runs two Community Engagement & Involvement (CIE) working groups:
Lived experience of drawing on adult social care services (up to 10 people)
Staff experience of working in adult social care (up to 10 people)
These working groups will:
Consult on and co-design research studies in Phases 1 and 2, including identifying training requirements and access needs of co-researchers.
Agree a strategy for including a diverse participant sample (staff experience and lived experience) for projects developed.
Support projects in years 3-5. Involvement will vary by study and group member, including advisory roles, as co-researchers, contributing to data collection, analysis and dissemination.
